The school district provides our program with many forms of support including money for instruments, music and certified or classified staff. However, this is an insufficient sum. Each student is required to pay a “Fair Share” (Lab Fee) to help defray the costs to our program for items such as: school owned instruments, recording equipment, music, festival participation fees, uniform maintenance/dry cleaning, web client database system, updated music technology, specialist staff, guest artists/composers/conductors, social events, t-shirts and many other vital components to our program.
Fair share MUST be paid before any Booster money is applied to any other band, colorguard, or orchestra activity, even trips.
